I studied Physics, Mathematics and Geosciences in Erlangen and Edinburgh. Until 2017 I worked as scientific project manager at the School of Geosciences at the University of Edinburgh on projects in climate sciences. Now I work full-time as a freelance author, translator and editor.

In my spare time I'm active in various organisations and projects that encourage scientific thinking in the general public.
